Carry Kindness

Carry Kindness Privacy

A Small Privacy Note

Carry Kindness keeps location coarse and public sharing limited. This page explains what is stored and what can appear in the shared world.

What The Site Uses

Carry Kindness uses your IP address only to infer approximate location like country, region, and city. This is done server-side with a GeoLite2 database.

The site may also keep a lightweight first-party visit token, referrer host, and UTM source information so the project can understand where visits are coming from in aggregate.

Carry Kindness may also remember this browser with a first-party visitor token so returning visits can keep a pseudonym, private prompt memory, and a quieter field-guide experience without requiring an account.

What Can Be Public

When you carry a kindness forward, the shared world may show your pseudonym, the kindness prompt you chose, and your country.

Region and city are used only for internal reporting. Exact location is not stored.

What Is Not Stored

Carry Kindness does not store browser GPS location, latitude and longitude, postal code, street address, or exact place data for this feature.

Raw IP addresses are not retained for this analytics feature, and the browser memory does not identify a person across devices.
